About me

I am a graduate of the University of Michigan with an Honors degree in Communication and Media and a minor in Digital Studies. I hope to use my college degree to go into Sports Reporting. I am an avid sports fan and have dreamed of working among talented athletes, coaches, and reporters since high school.

During my time at Michigan, I was involved in various Sports Journalism and Broadcasting organizations on campus. I enjoyed getting involved in my college community and attending Michigan sporting events that I covered through my sports organizations. One of my favorite and most rewarding roles was being an Executive Producer on the WOLV-TV show, Wolverine Women. This all-women sports talk show encompasses both Michigan athletics as well as highlights women in the sports industry that inspire others. Through this position, I was able to surround myself with other women that pushed me to succeed and motivated me to be my best self.

Additionally, I was born and raised in Michigan and attended Marian High School where I played Varsity Golf and was the captain Senior year. Since retiring from the sport competitively, I still find myself playing when my schedule allows and was lucky enough to work at the 2021 Rocket Mortgage Classic as a PR/Marketing Intern.

I am a recent graduate of the Broadcast and Digital Journalism Masters program in the Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. Along with the BDJ program I was also on the Sports track through the Newhouse Sports Media Center. During my time at Syracuse, I was a reporter for ACC Network studio shows, Sports Illustrated on Fan Nation, and the Newhouse Media Center. I learned the importance of story telling and working as a team in order to produce quality newscasts and packages. These experiences have molded me into a diligent worker and charismatic young professional that makes me an asset to any team.
